Green tea produced in Shizuoka is well known all over Japan.
Shizuoka leads Japan in green tea production.
I think Shiuzoka's green tea is the best.

Many people in Shiuzoka love green tea.
I always have green tea in my house's fridge.

In some elementary school or junior high school serve green tea in the time of school lunch.
It is very natural.

Shizuoka has a lot of green tea fields.

I have done tea picking when I was child, because it was one of event in kindergarten.

Many products based on Shizuoka's green tea is put out in Shizuoka.
For example, ice cream, juice, snacks and so on.

Shizuoka's anime

Today, I am going to talk about Shizuoka's Anime.
Do you know "Chibi-Maruko chan"??
It is televised at 6:00 PM, every sunday.
Chibi-Maruko chan is set in Shizuoka, because author who is Momoko Sakura was born in Shizuoka. Also, she writes this anime based on her real stories.
It is a famous story in Shizuoka.

One of the biggest department store in Shizuoka called "S-pulse dream plaza" has "Chibi-Maruko chan land".

Actually, my freind's mother is freind with Momoko Sakura.
She said "This character is me!!!!!!!!"
I don't know it is truth or not...

However you can see places which apper in anime.
"Tomoe river" often apper in this anime.
This river is real!!!! Do you belive that???

Nihondaira zoo

I wil talk about Nihondaira zoo.
It is one of famous zoo in Shizuoka.
Most people in Shizuoka have gone there. Also, I have.
People who are under 12 can enter free.

A famous lesser panda called Futa was born in.
Futa has the rare ability to stand on two legs like a human being.
It is a famous story, right?

Also Nihondaira zoo has fierce animals booth.
So, it is a popular place.
We can feel power from animals.
Soooooooooo excite!!!!!

If you like animals, I recommend you shoud go there.

I was recived a box of tangerines from my friend's mother today.
So I will talk about shizuoka's tangerine.

Shizuoka is one of famous tangerine producing district in Japan.
Especially, Mikkabi  tangerine is very delicious.
Mikkabi is a name of place in Shizuoka, Hamamatsu city.

She is a character of Mikkabi tangerine, called "Mika chan".

Mikkabi is also famous for picking tangerine.
Most children in Shizuoka go to there for picking tangerine.
When I was in kindergarten, I have gone there.
Pisking tangerene is one of event for Shizuoka people.

Many people in Shizuoka usually say "If you eat tangerine too much, your face will change to orange."
It is a funny story.

Two Soccer Teams

Today's topic is soccer team.

Shizuoka is called "kingdom of soccer"
Shizuoka has two professional soccer teams.
You know, it is "Shimizu S-Pulse" and "Jubilo Iwata".

Many people who love soccer come to there.

There are soccer goods shops near my house.So, we can buy it whenever we want.

We can get soccer game tickets because we can get it free of charge at school. So, I have been to soccer game many times. It is very natural for us.

If you love soccer, Shizuoka is the best place for you.

Shizuoka's Daidogei World Cup

Shizuoka's Daidogei World Cup is very famous not only Japan but also foreigners. And it is one of big festival in Shizuoka.

The Daidogei World Cup was held in Shizuoka City from November 1st to 4th.
Performers from around the world will enliven the city streets, and more than 1.6 million visitors are expected.

This year's event, the 21th in the series, has 92 participants from 16 countries.
Street performers are competing with one another by performing in parks, the streets and other places.
Of course I have gone to it, and I like it. Many people are looking forward to coming that day every year. Also, I am.
The judges are local citizens. They can vote for best perfomers.
They won the championship in this year.

Today's topic is Shizuoka Oden.

  Today I am going to introduce about Shizuoka Oden. Many Shizuoka's people often eat it.Shizuoka Oden is different from other Oden.

 At first Shizuoka Oden's soup is deep black.

It is soooo black, isn't it?

  We usually eat it with "dashi-powder". Also, we never cook Oden without putting into "hanpen". Shizuoka's hanpen is black. It is so delicious. It is called "Shizo-ka Oden".

  Second, Shizuoka has "Oden yokocho". The long line of Oden restaurants continue there. I have gone there many times. Many people can enjoy eating Oden in a lot of restaurant.

  Also, many shops which sells cheap sweets sell Oden. It is very natural. So we can eat it easily. I used to eat it with my friends on my way home from school.

  If you come to Shizuoka, you should eat Oden!!!

Mt. Fuji

Today's topic is Mt. Fuji.

  It is one of famous place in Shizuoka. Many people know it,

and many people visit Shizuoka to do sightseeing it.

 At first I'm going to introduce it. Mt. Fuji is Japan's highest peak with an altitude of 3,776 meters （12,388 feet）. Can you imagine it? Actually, it takes about one hour half from my house to there, but I can see it from my house.

 Every winter it is covered with snow. It is sooooooo beautiful. I saw Mt. Fuji with snow on the way to my school when I was high school student. Do you envy me??:->

Can you see Mt.Fuji? It was cloudy day...

 Many Japanese think it is not reasonable, but Mt. Fuji, the widely recognized symbol of Japan, is conspicuously not registered as a world heritage site. Do you know the reason? It is because of environmental problems and a big problem that we should deal with.

 However I want to come there for many people. When you come, you should care about some problem.

1. Clothes : The temperature difference between the mountain's base and top is around 20 degrees, and even though summer is hot in Japan dawn temperatures at Fuji's peak in August can still be near or below freezing.
2. Time : You have to make a time plan when you climb.
3. Environment : Of course, you have to bring your garbages and if you will see garbages, please pick up them.

 In addition to the mountain itself, nearby areas such as the Fuji Five Lakes, are also renowned for their beautiful scenery.

 When you come to Shizuoka, you should go to Mt. Fuji.
